Hi I'm Kwana Jackson. A writer of Women's fiction and Young Adult, former fashion designer, wife and a mother of teen twins who has a love of knitting and a strange obsession with "reality" TV. Oh and I'm the owner of one feisty terrier named Jack who I write about often because he can't sue me or talk about me in therapy later!
Will Write for Money, Food or Gas! Or you can just send me an email to tell me how much you really love me.
This gorgeous painting from French painter Martin Drolling in 1815 reminds me of all the work I need to do around the house today. What about you? What's on your agenda today?
Today I finally cleaned up my office/studio! Yea for me! Everything is filed in lovely photos. Everything is organized. I can think clearly once more. I've found that listening to Stephen Fry read Harry Potter aloud to me via CD really helps with unpleasant tasks!
Happy to run down and lend a hand, that is what friends are for. You know me, I have no mercy. My sister and I refer to our cleaning rampages as "killing snakes and capturing dust bunnies." Ask me, and I can lend a hand. I love that painting. pve
I love organizing! It always feels so good when the job is completed. Treat yourself to something special when the task is behind you. Like a hot bath before the kids get home.
Love the image. For today I am going into the office to work and that will be it for me. Now if you asked me what I did yesterday. Smile... Hugs to you and Jack! xo
I have 2 more ceramic Christmas trees to put away in their boxes which are in the laundry room. And in the laundry room is a surprising basket of clothes to launder. Don't know how they got there!
Plus, work, dog walk, etc. And it is now snowing so I will have to shovel the dog paths later. xoxo
I feel like I've been on a treadmill every weekend for months and months...except I know I haven't really been on a treadmill 'cause my butt is still quite large. :-)

I'm giving myself 10 more minutes online than cleaning....I swear!

I love your art posts!
Today I need to refocus on my WIP.
Beautiful painting- and you reminded me of all the work I have to do around the house today!
My dh pulled up photos of a broom, mop and vacuum on Google images and said, "I just wanted you to know what they looked like."
Cracked me the hell up!
I was just discussing the Roomba with my friends. Now I think I need one.
Great choice! I know you'll get everything done. :)
