The Spy Who I Loved

So I've jumped on the Netflix bandwagon and let me tell you it's a dangerous wagon for a girl like me to be on. You all know how I can get.
My latest obsession is MI-5.

I had been wanting to get into MI-5, the smart and sexy British spy series for the longest, but have probably the world's worst cable and it doesn't offer BBC America so I was missing out. But now with Netflix I can watch all I've missed right on my computer. Very bad and oh so good indeed.

Do you have any across the pond obsessions? I know I have a few. Dish with me.

Best,
Kwana

I'm with pve, Cadbury Chocolate is mine too. We get BBC here but only the news and after that it turns to infocommercials.I'm gonna have to check out netflicks.

Torchwood and Robin Hood are my across the pond favorites.
And I am always a sucker for classic books made into BBC mini series.

We get BBC America on our cable system here. 3 outstanding British series that I love:

Absolutely Fabulous, Cash in the Attic and the wonderful Keeping Up Appearances, about Hyacinth Bucket, the middle class housewife who puts on such airs!!

And finally my last across the pond favorite, my daughter-in-law Amy!! xoxo

I still love House. I don't watch it regularly and it's really not an across the pond flick, but Hugh Laurie hails from that distant shore.

I go back to visit family every year and for those of us who don't have satalite over there...there is only a choice of 4 or 5 channels. BUT the quality of the Shows is awesome(a little bias, but I'm never dissapointed)...marmite in fresh white toast, with a REALLY good cup of tea and a pack of worchester sauce chips for a snack..perfect!

As an ex-Brit I also miss the Cadbury's chocolate, a good cup of tea, news that covers the whole world in an hour and my family. Oh and prawn cocktail crisps from Sainsburys LOL

DO I??
MI-5 is one, of course. But so is New Tricks, Graham Norton, the "original" What Not To Wear Girls - Trinny and Susannah, Horlick's Low Fat Malt Drink....of I could go on and on!!

Not an obsession - but I do enjoy 'Fawlty Towers'. My obsessions are almost all literary - no I guess that's not quite right - I love architecture, food, art, etc. etc. etc. How does one choose?! I love it all!
Thanks for stopping by Kwana.

I'm obsessed with MI-5 and have all the available seasons on DVD.

My favorite scene is from season 1 when the pretty agent got her face fried in the deep fryer. Ouch!
