Tis the season

The first raking of the fall and it's only the beginning. We'll soon be covered.
Gee I forgot about this when economizing with the gardener. Sigh. Oh well, it will be good exercise.

Best,
Kwana

The fresh air is invigorating, however, wear gloves to prevent blisters (ouch)!

DIY is always the best form of humility!
Then we find out what goes into so many jobs.
Good for you to get out and rake!! My DH calls it "sweat equity." :)

A bit at a time and it won't seem so daunting... but such a nice time of year to be outside.

This year I have decided to let the leaves decompose and feed the lawn. Never tried this before. Will report back in the spring. The lawn will be covered in snow soon anyway. It is hard to see the little poodle poos among the leaves, tho!

This makes me appreciate my tiny, nearly tree-free property. Though the mighty oaks across the street are starting to tick me off. ;-)
