Oh Honey!

I made it to the gym yesterday so, yay me. Too bad I got a stitch in my side about 5 minutes into my run. UGH!! With the stitch and the fact that a skinny chickadee hopped up on each of the dreadmills on both sides of me, burning at triple my shuffling pace, I so wanted to trip them up and go home. But I didn't. I'm such a freakin' lady.
No, I slogged my way through, stitch and all.
Yay me again!

And check this out. See I told you Anderson takes his Real Housewives of Atlanta verrrry seriously.

Oh Honey! (listen closely)

Best,

Kwana

Oh nice! I'm glad you slogged through it. In terms of the side stitch, the best way to get rid of these is by putting your arms over your head (bent at the elbow) and breath in for two steps and out for two steps, repeating this pattern for a few minutes. I hate side stitches, it's so hard to push through them.

Mommytherobot you've got a good excuse.

I know right Eileen, Louisa and N.

You had me in stitches! I know the feeling have someone who can run right beside me talking up a storm as I'm huffing and puffing. The good thing is you went and got on the treadmill, before long you will be doing circles around the young ones. Keep up the good work!

Thanks so much Joyce!

Hey - found your blog through Mrs. Limestone! GOod luck with the gym thing. It is so onerous when you have a busy life, but so worth it. I have worked out for the past 13 years and then took the last 2 years off (I still do the treadmill but no weights) and I am slowly feeling really crummy. It's really worth it to keep it up. I no longer care how I look next to those skinny chicks (who always look unhappy anyway). I just want to be a strong, trim old lady. i want to do it for ME. To hell with how I look or who thinks I look hot. Once I learned to do it to keep me strong and well, I am starting to stay more motivated and do more. It is a struggle every day because I love to eat, but I want to live long and strong more!

Yay for Obama too. I am so happy I wish I were American right now!! I really would have loved to vote and cried through most of his speeches the last few days and then after he won. I am a sucker for anyone who talks about respect for all people, who loves his wife so much, and who knows what dignity and values mean. He is my hero...

Come by and visit! Terri

"You don't know about NeNe?" may be one of the funniest questions I've heard this year!

So I missed some episodes: what happened that Kim is now friends with Sheree and hates NeNe???

Your comment at the gym makes me think of that scene in Fried Green Tomatoes when Kathy Bates runs into the girls' car after they steal her parking space! :)

Wasn't that funny Carleen?

Sheree totally got into Kim's head one episode. I think 2 weeks ago after the party.

I love Fried Green Tomatoes. Great movie.
