Un-Fashionably Late

What's Jack up to? Don't let the sweet face fool ya. (he may never forgive the DD for this pic) Jack has been into all sorts of mess. Snipping at everyone lately and full of big time attitude. What's with that? Could it be the new administration. Is he expecting an appointment? And now, I think he has allergies. Do both of us need them? Ugh. I have to give him eye ointment daily. Now that's at good time. Uh, not really.

Just call me Ms. Late To The Party, but I'm finally reading Twilight. I'm serious this time. After many, many false starts. I don't know what's with me and this book. I pick it up and put it back down. I don't know why. I think I'm afraid I'll be as into it as everyone else is and get sucked into another obsession. You know how I get. But check out what Katiebabs said over at her blog. I'm in in the company of the future Pres. So cool!

But really I need to see what the fuss is all about and get with the program. Wish me luck. I hope to come out sane on the other side.

Speaking of obsessions... I just finished another Elizabeth Hoyt. Yeah, I've got a problem. Admitting it is half the battle. This one was To Taste Temptation. The tension was high and it took a while for it to get really sexy, but when it did. Oh it did and well. I already know I'm fighting a losing battle with myself not to dash off to the bookstore for a least five minutes and get the next book in the series: To Seduce a Sinner. That darn Elizabeth's gone a set it up so well too with two character that I'm dying to see get together. Sigh. I'm in big trouble here.

Best,
Kwana

P.S. Don't forget TOP CHEF tonight.

Gym tip: After your triumphant turn on the treadmill, after the applause dies down, take your book to the stationary bike and read a chapter or two!! And what does that adorable Jack have on his head? So cute!

Twilight is the best of the series, I think. They lose steam pretty fast after that.

YAY! Top Chef tonight! I can't wait.

Welcome to the Twilight fan club! I am so ready for the movie. After Twilight you will want to get your hands on every single book in the series, much like Harry Potter.
And now you will understand why people ask if you are on Team Edward or Team Jacob.

Personally, I ripped straight through half of Twilight, put it down to do something else, and never picked it up again. It's just not as sticky for me as it seems to be for most people. I'm looking forward to the movie, though. I loved that kid when he played Cedric Diggory...

Elizabeth Hoyt, on the other hand? Can't get enough of her!

Omg you know I LOVE Twilight. I'm so happy that you are finally reading it. Did your DD finishing up with the series.

I read all 4 of them and now I'm in withdrawal. I want more.

If you go onto Stephenie Meyers site you can read the leaked manuscript of the 5th book Midnight Sun. Woo hoo!

good luck with the book. I just started the fourth book. I'm not obsessed, but I do have to say it's a pretty damn good series because it's such an easy read and I don't have to think. ;)

Thanks for the tip Ina. Jack's wearing a neck scarf from pet smart on his head that my dear daughter put on.

I love all the Twilight talk.

High-Heeled I just took my daughter to get the 3rd book today. She's a big reader but she flips around.

Nice books, but I'm glad to see Jack back on his game into the picture! Yahoo... I just adore that little man. He is a terrier, right? When we got Kelly (lakeland terrier) I was making 3 hour round trips to a trainer for 12 weeks. Needless to say it wasn't Kelly that needed the training but ME!! Regardless you got to love them!!

Oh my, sounds like some delicious reading! I have been hearing about this Twilight book, or is it a series? I tend to avoid series, because I get sucked in for a year and all the other books pile up. ; )

Yes, Joyce Jack is a Yorkshire terrier and quite a handful. He keeps me on my toes! I can't believe we took him to training and he passed!

Terri, Twilight is a popular Young Adult book series that many adults like. There is also a movie coming out very soon. I'm a writer (so far unpublished)of women's fiction and young adult.

Oh Terri Twilight is book 1.
