Stick a Fork in Her

Wow, according to the counter this is my 600th post. That can't be right. Can it?
There must be a few drafts thrown in there but I'm not going to go back and count so I'll just go by the reader and say go me. Yay!

Funny it being my 600th post and here I am posting this God awful pic of myself but there you have it. That's me. I keep it real. A far cry from yesterday's post.

Well here I am yesterday just a few minutes after getting off a roller coaster that I probably had no business getting on. It's The Bizarro at 6 Flags. That thing twisted, turned went upside down and, corkscrewed. I think it was the corkscrews that did me in. Don't they all?

So today I'm dog tired.

After that one I was a go go for this one. The DH was a trooper and went on all the coasters with the Dear Twins including El Turro. My hero.

I did get my nerve up and stomach back in order and got on Superman which I love before we went home. Scary. No bottom. The coaster tilts your body so it's like you're flying. Crazy and I loved it!
It was a great way to end the day with the four of us in terror together like we were meant to be. A family. LOL.

Today in honor of it being my 600th post I'm doing a give away for my friends and followers. So leave a comment saying what you like about Kwana Writes and make sure that you're a follower and you can win a 20.00 Amazon gift certificate. While you're at it please tell a friend. The drawing will close at midnight Friday.

Thanks so much to you all for hanging with me here. Me, Jack and my bad hair really appreciates it!

Best,
Kwana

Well happy 600th post, haven;t you been a busy bee? You look reasonably in tact after that ride, I would have been a right royal wreck.

I recently went on a scary ride with a special little someone-and OMG... I was beside myself-yet this sweet girl returned three time to go on the same ride with different family members! So I am humbled by your bravery. Happy 600th! And many more Kwana.

Really is that time of year for stepping up and riding the rides! I felt a bit of that same fear, and thrill at the water park myself.
Wow 600th! "Stick-to-it" and to what you love!

Congratulations on your 600th post! Wowee! That's amazing. I love those corkscrew coasters at Six Flags and boy do I admire you for letting anyone take your photo after riding one. When I get off those things...not a pretty picture!

I hope you know that I love Kwana Writes!

WOW 600th post! Time sure flies when we are having fun. I hope you and Jack have a moment to share a treat to celebrate.

Thanks for keeping it real and for sharing Jack with us. You are beautiful and still smiling even after a scary ride. I don't think my stomach would be able to handle the big rides as when I was younger. Enjoy my friend. xoxo

Hey Kwana, I think you look fine in your picture and so brave to go on that thing. I'm petrified of those rides and don't even like watching my family on them!

You are a better woman than I am to face those scary rides. My stomach doesn't do well on them. Glad you had fun!
Congrats on your 600th post. I look forward to reading many more, keeping us and Jack entertained.

Yikes Kwana you are so brave! I think I would have thrown up 800 times, then died from fright. I am even afraid to look down from any height! Nice picture of you too!

Happy 600th! xoxo

Congratulations on 600 posts! I don't have a dog and I love living vicariously through you and Jack. And those rollercoaster rides look like fun!

Wow! 600 posts????? Incredible!

And I can so relate to your amusement park experience -- we just went to one also recently and I had to recalibrate my adult self to the rollercoasters I used to go on (with no prob!) as a teenager. Having teens makes you kind of revist all that stuff, huh? (When the kids are little, you're doing things like "It's a Small World"! sheesh). Anyway, glad you had fun, but that expression was on my face last weekend, too. : )

And what do I love about Kwana Writes? Many things, but among them are lines like this: "It was a great way to end the day with the four of us in terror together like we were meant to be. A family. LOL."

Love it! You always make me smile. ...

Happy 600 posts to you and here's to many, many more!

I don't know how I found you but I'm glad that I did. I love your quirky sense of humor and the way you write. Plus, any mom of twins earns extra points with me!

I'm proud of your courage to face your rollercoaster giant and have a good time.

WOWZA....600?! I am impressed. I'm a little (OK, a lot) late to the party but I still want to say what I like about Kwana Writes. You are so witty, and that totally comes through in your writing (and in person!) and...how else would I know what Jack's up to? ;-)

Congratulations on being such a good blogger. I should rename my blog Sporadic Chic.
