Happy hump day. Over the weekend we had our first bit of snow here in New York and I snapped a few pictures during my walk with Jack that I thought I'd share.
It was just a dusting but we're supposed to get some more bad weather during the day today. I can't complain though it's nothing compared to the odd weather going on in the Midwest. Hang in there guys.
Lovely red, white and brown
Our little stream view
One of my outside tin Christmas trees and my geraniums that are still hanging on.
What's the weather like where you are today?
Calm I hope. Life is stormy enough.
Best,
Kwana

Wonderful pictures here Kwana. Not a flake of snow has fallen this morning and they have canceled everything! So it must be coming. Have a good day.
Gorgeous pictures, I love fresh dusting of snow. I can't believe you have flowers hanging in there. Have a wonderful day.
Thanks for sharing your walk views. That looks like late October in Anchorage, just before we get buried in snow. Our weather? Snowy with a stubborn ice fog. The ice fog, combined with tempertures in the teens make for slick roads. Not fun commuting to work!! xoxo
Ahhh, I love snow! It's hot as heck in the sunshine state which is a little disappointing. I think the cold weather makes the holiday season...although it's been raining off and on but it's not a very good consolation prize. When I left Dallas, Mr. Right told me it snowed for the first time in years! And I missed it!!!! Oh well, I must have taken the sunshine with me....
Weather - better then yesterday. Very cold, we are digging out from a snow storm.
If you're scheduled to get what we got, hang on......
lovely. The snow seemed to miss us this time around. I'm hoping we'll get something this year though. Usually we don't get anything but ice sometime after christmas.
Hi, Kwana! Pretty pictures! I'm determined to visit New York sometime in the snow. :)
Here in So. Cal, we had our first heavy rain at the beginning of the week, but the sun came out the next day and it was GORGEOUS. Everything looked clean and sparkly. But it's cold (for US. We're wimps. 40 degrees is cold for us.) We're supposed to get another rain storm tomorrow night, though, so this lovliness might not last long. ... I'd better get out and take some pics at lunch!
I do love the snow but getting around can be slippery.
Stay warm and enjoy whatever comes your way!

Here? The weather outside is frightful, but the fire is so delightful! The snow is up to my knees and the temperature has everything frozen in place. The sun is shining. It's beautiful!
Love your tin Christmas tree! It's been in the 20s all week here, but still no snow. Thanks for sharing yours.
Just gorgeous, Kwana! It's very warm here. Have a great weekend.
