The Music is Not Dead

What's Jack up to? Right now he's sleeping ever so sweetly after running around the house like crazy dog for the last 3 hours while the twins had friends over for their birthday. I know Jack all that entertaining is exhausting.

So on my Dear Daughter's i-Pod wedged between him:

and him:

was him:

Taken from my playlist. Nice. Makes me feel like I'm doing something right as a parent. Of course she also knows all the words to Musical Youth's 'Pass the Dutchie' too. Eek!

Sidebar: How about that Miracle on the Hudson? Amazing. My mouth was hanging open as this was breaking news. I'm glad I wasn't driving down the west side highway during that time as I'd have surely crashed from the shock. The pilot is a real hero (and the best pilot ever) and once again I'm so proud of the super fast New York responders. Even on water they can't be beat. I just love New York!

Best,

Kwana

Kristen, The top guy is Jesse McCartney and the one below is Lil Wayne both very polular right now. You can't turn around without bumping into Lil Wayne.

My goodness, yes, they are both really popular. I direct a dance team in my spare time ("spare time"- HA!) and we are crazy about their music.

Sadly, as cute as Jesse McCartney is, he's a little young for me.

And OMG, "The Miracle on the Hudson"- those passengers were supposed to be coming to Charlotte, NC- so close to home for me. But as far as I know, I didn't know anyone on board.

That little Jack had a big job to do yesterday. I hope he got a little treat for his work!

I have heard of the guys, but I didn't know how they looked! LOL...

Yesterday was a big day of celebration all the way around a day of miracles (the birth of your twins 15 yrs ago and the sweetness on the Hudson Bay.
Truly a golden day!

Is it wrong that I think Jesse McCartney is cute? And not in an "awww, puppy" kind of way, but in kind of a naughty way.

Yep. The Miracle on the Hudson..just keeps me wondering what the heck were those people thinking when that plane was going down...I told the hubby that he would've had to punch me in the face to keep me from freaking out....

A miracle that everyone walked away alive from that.

LOL- Get Togetha!

I would have been slumped over in my seat from a heart attack.

I despise flying- I cry like a baby every time I have to. It embarrasses my hubby to no end...

I would love to fly any time with that pilot!! What a fantastic day and I thought the picture of everybody standing on the wing of the jet was amazing xo Have a good weekend Kwana!!

Gotta love Elton. And the Muppets.
And I have to say, I do prefer the "other" McCartney!

I was in Seattle Friday morning and we walked out of our hotel room and there was the paper with the headline "Miracle on the Hudson', we didn't look at it but when we got to our seminar everyone was talking about it like we'd already read it so it wasn't until I got home that I learned what had actually happened!
We needed something like that to happen with a positive outcome with so much talk about the economy these days, it's hard to keep one's head above it sometimes!
