Turning the Page

What's Jack up to? Mr. Jack is a missing the DH after the Christmas Holiday. I'm just not as playful. Sorry Jack. I've got to step up my game.

If you're like me, and I suspect a few of you are, you get excited over the opening of a crisp new book. So sweet!

So like a fruitcake, I spent a good deal of time on Sunday searching for the perfect new daily planner to help organize these days that seem to always get away from me. I also had way too much trouble finding inserts for my Filofax which I've had for years for all the family appointments. See I'm big on writing things down and if it doesn't make it into that red book, well, we don't make it where we need to be. Organizing a family is not easy. Can I get an amen?

One of my Christmas gifts this year was a new Blackberry which should arrive any day. The DH feels this should answer all my organizing needs. Now I love him dearly, but he should know by now that you can never pry the pen from a writer's hand.

Are you ringing in the New Year by turning a new page? I sure am. Think of all the wonderful possibilities of a clean slate. That first moment of infinite ability.

Best,
Kwana

The New Year for me is like turning a new leaf or a new page. I have the i-phone, yet there is still magic in holding and yielding the pen and paper. I do like having it all in one spot. I plan to do a
lot more filing on the i-phone too.

On Saturday I spent a lot of wasted time at Office Depot looking for the PERFECT calendar to organize my Sunday tennis group schedules, etc....I have the I Phone with all of its techno pizazz but I agree there is nothing like writing stuff in a calendar!

I've never been able to use a planner successfully. I want to, I just don't seem to be that kind of person. I do write things on a wall calendar. Does that count?

I love writing things down i.e. calendars, writing letters, cards etc... It is one of the things from the past I still try to hold onto.

New Year's is my favorite holiday! I love the whole fresh slate idea.

I also got the jump on the January crowd by going back to WW. I'm loving the new plan (which is basically the old one, with new materials).

I use an iphone and the calendar it offers (mobileme) but miss using paper. I'm anxious to hear how you like using the BlackBerry!

Yep, wall calenders count Kristen. I use that too. I have a feeling I'll use all my planners, calenders along with the Blackberry.

Another future crackberry addict. I don't use it in place of paper and pen. I just love texting on it. Clearly DH is a smart man who saved your sanity.

I'm already loving it Dana. I can see myself going there. I love texting on it. It's the only way to keep up with the kids.
