Grumpy Puppy

What’s Jack up to? Poor Jack is not happy. After a visit to the vet he’s been put on a restrictive diet in order to see if he has any food allergies to take care of his runny eyes. So on top of shots and giving blood Jack can’t even eat or have the treats he wants. So far it’s not working out too well. Last night I was left with a full bowl of food. I'm hoping being really hungry today will help the food taste better to him. I’ll keep you all updated on a grumpy Jack’s progress.

No worries, Jack I'll try and diet a bit right along with ya. As I'm elbow deep in edits I'll try and cut down on the light and sweet iced coffee at least a bit. A girl needs the proper fuel to work.

I hope you all had a good weekend and have a Sunny Monday.

Best,
Kwana

Poor Jack! Perhaps my cat needs the same, her eyes have been runny for two days or so-a trip to the vet is imminent.

I hope your weekend was swell-back on the grind; enjoy!

Poor little muffin.
Edward had a food change not long after we got him, due to some tummy troubles from living on the streets for awhile. I swore he'd never eat the prescribed food, but he loved it. Shows what I know. He's all better now, but I still feed him hypoallerginic food. Cost a fortune, but well, he's worth it.
Can Jack eat chicken and rice?

Ohhh...I hope your little guy is up and about and feeling perkier very soon. Such a sweet picture of Jack here. Sad eyes~ I'd feel sad too if I couldn't have a favorite treat.

Bentley feels Jacks pain. Runny eyes does not sound fun - not one bit, unless it involve a good cry.
(persevere with the edits!)

I can't believe my dog has allergies just like me. They may or may not be food related- could be dust. Ugh.

Tamstyles, yes they have to give blood to check for Lyme disease and I'm glad we checked. Jack doesn't have it but he was bitten my a tick and it showed up in his blood. Crazy. I never knew either.

Jack gives thanks for the well wishes. We will persevere. Two strong wills clashing. I'm sure I'll be on the losing end here. LOL.

Poor little pupper!! he loos so sad there.

Wombat's vet told us to put him on Benedryl if his eyes get goopy and he does 'the scoot'.
So once or twice I've done it. Plus, I am kind of hoping he'll zonk out.
He does not.

Awwww, poor Jack. Keep us updated on what you find out.

Our Jake has developed not really running eyes but what I call eye burgers over the last couple of weeks. I was wondering if he may be developing an allergy. Hummmmm.....

Oh Jack it won't be long and you will get some kind of treat again. xoxo
