The Day After

Happy Friday after Thanksgiving. I hope you had a wonderful day and got to spend time with those you love. The DH took the dear twins to the Macy's parade in the morning which was so much fun for them since they have not been since they were babies and it left me with time to get in a few NaNo words before heading for dinner at Nana's.

If you're reading this blog it must mean you're not out in the Black Friday shopping madness today. I sure thought about it. Real Hard. But these images will show why I'm not out today. If you are or did go out. I wish you best of luck with finding great bargains. Me, I'm still hanging with my NaNo writing. Only 4 days to make my deadline. Tick Tock.

Best,
Kwana

I'm with you. No Black Friday shopping for me. I hope it helps the economy, however, for today I will remain home and listen to music (and maybe have a sliver of pumpkin pie). :)

I don't like that sort of shopping with crowds-so it's not for me. I will stay home and prepare for a small dinner with friends tonight. You are doing really well with your writing, and I can tell you are into it. Have a good day.

I am staying at the drawing board today. Nope, no crowds for me. I think those sorts of images truly take the real meaning of Christmas away.
Nana and Nano made me giggle...
keep writing!!

Keep going on those NaNo words! I can't believe the 30 days are almost over!

No black Friday for me, either. Just a quietly restful day at home.

I made a dash just to the grocery for essentials. Never even got close to a store because the roads were bad enough. Who needs anything bad enough to risk losing a limb? I live in the middle of "mall land" Long Island. I'm not even stepping foot outside til tomorrow.

NaNo this year looks like a bust - ah, well. There's always 2010! Rock on' Kwana!

no no no no no.... plus it was snowing so hard all day Friday that I did not leave the house. My husband drove to the office and said the roads were not well maintained by road crews.

Before I looked out the window it was my plan to get over to JC Penneys they were having good sales, I want to pick up some new towels for my updated bathroom shower. But there was not enough savings on the planet to get me to leave and plow through snow to get them. xoxo

Nope. I stayed away from the Black Friday shoppers. Not my idea of fun at all. I'll stick to shopping online.

Yup, I'm so with you...even the post title! heehee...
This reminded me of the tragic that happened last year at wallmart...
Happy holidays Kwana!

I have absolutely no idea why this type of shopping is attractive to some. It can't be prices alone. What is this American-centric-phenomenon all about? Old Navy opened at 3 a.m. Friday morning. Does a badly merchandised store somehow look better at that ungodly time?
