Paris Has My Heart

What's Jack up to? He's wondering where the Dear Twins have gotten to right about now. Spent lots of time on top of the couch and watching the window yesterday. I'm sure right now he's like what the heck is up and where are they? Sorry Jack.

Bonjour! The Dear Twins got off to Paris yesterday evening and I'm trying hard not to worry too much while waiting for scattered calls. I'm hoping all goes well when they meet their generous host families and they find their ways around ok.

Hey, maybe they'll be like these kids here, rocking it along the Seine.

You'll be glad to hear I fought hard and won the battle of the tears when the bus was pulling away from the school (I didn't want to embarrass them too much).

But I did get in an extra hug or two. I just had to.

Best,
Kwana

I am glad the DT got off to their trip. I can't wait to hear about the fun they will have.
My heart goes to you and Jack. Will this be the longest they are away from home?
Congrats on the no tears- I'm sure it was hard.
Sending you hugs. xo

I hope the twins have a wonderful time in Paris.
They will, and I know you will take time to write and to do a little soul searching. It always works when the house is quiet. Well -that is if Jack cooperates.
I thought for sure one of the twins might try to stow Jack away in a valise.

I am sure they will be having a blast! Don't you worry!
I always cry when my older boys leave or I have to leave them behind! They are in Berlin, Germany. So far!
I know how hard it is to say good bye!

You are brave!
Happy Valentine!

I'm so glad they made it! When we moved to NE, my son missed out on a school trip to Italy! I may never forgive myself for that one. You - and they - will be so happy for this opportunity! When will they be home?

Hmmm... is it Jack or Mom looking out the window missing the twins?

Hope they're having a fabulous trip, and you get tons of writing done.

Thanks for all your comments.

Miz Write I have been to Paris once with my mother a about 10 ten years ago. I so want to go back.

Ina I will give Jack extra hugs.

Phyllis you're right it's not just Jack looking out the window.

Bet they're having a fab time - and will they be bringing you a present back? Well done for not crying. Whenever I visit my brother in NY, I always have to stop myself blubbing when I leave for the airport.
