There is this little church that I past often in my weekly teen chauffeur duties and they have a sign out front that's right by the main road. The cool thing is that since it's a busy two way road they make good use of the sign and put different sayings on both the front and back of the sign.
For the longest time I just drove past and never noticed and honesty I was driving to fast to read it anyway. But now I always slow down and give it a glance to see what sayings they have up for the week. This week I decided to pull over and a pic of a least one side of the sign. I really liked the saying and I hope you do too. It's something I always try and remind my children of.
"To Belittle Is To Be Little"
Have a wonderful weekend!
Best,
Kwana

Hi Kwana!
To use a few words with a BIG message is powerful! I'm glad you shared.
It reminds of an article yesterday in the Daily Bread I read yesterday about quick to judge.

Have a golden weekend! xoxo
PS How is your back doing?
What a neat church - looks like they really minister to the community in a meaningful way!
love that. You should tweet it!
I love this church and the sign that changes. I often slow down, to make sure that I see that sign. It is so true!
You know my girl took a ballet class there when she was little and I always loved the inspiring words-
Great saying. One we should all remember.
Love it. I use to live close to a pizza joint with a similiar sign. Unfortunately, it said 'Did you get your hot piece today?'
Not quite as deep!
That is SO TRUE!! And it reminds me of something I never forgot from Jr. High.... "assume"... when you assume, you make an ass of you and me!!!
That's a powerfull message!
Have a lovely day!
I'm writing that one down!
a powerful message said so simply....definitely words to remember.
I've gotten e-mails with pictures of various church signs and the funny things they say. There's probably a website. We even had someone down here rent several billboards and they had great lines.
Oh, good for you to feature this! I read it daily. O used to go to preschool there and I always loved the adages posted. I've read this five times this week and I must admit, one of my faves. So simple.
