Happy Fab Friday People! Well, another week has flown by. What's up with that? The calender says Spring. There are even crocus cropping up here and there but the thermometer here in New York clearly did not get the memo.
Yesterday I was doing the mommy afternoon drive thing with the DD. Joy and fun with teens right? And when this happens you lose all control of your car radio especially with my girl. Cut to me cringing with the rapid fire speed of the station changing.
So this is what's playing in my 15 year old's ears and subsequently what's playing in my ears too right about now. I can't deal with some of her music, but some I really do like. And hey, she does go for a lot of my 80's stuff and she gets Prince. The girl has some good taste. In honor of Fab Friday and Simply Seleta Enjoy some Fab teen/mom questionable bonding music.

I remember that Prince song! I used to teach high school, but since I've "retired" to be a mom, I feel so out of touch with what's cool in music. Thanks for the sampling! Have a great weekend.
I've been bonding with my babysitter on Justin Timberlake bringing Sexy Back, & having a hard time reconciling that with my middle-aged self.

It always makes me laugh when my 7 yr. old knows all the words and sings along in the car....have to be careful of a few lyrics at times.
Me, my teenagers, the car windows rolled down, and the radio blasting...oh yeah!

Whenever I pick up the teens, I always blast something evil and then they say, "Mom, you are so weird!" I tell them, it takes one to make one! (or in my case 2)
Love the ting tings and that prince - he is a love.
Kwana - you are lucky to have the kids keeping you up-to-date. Most of my favorite music was made in the 80's and 90's. And that's where I'm stuck.
