What's Jack up to? Hopefully being sweet and easy. Let's have a quiet day, Jack. Please.
Remember that sweet little birdie from the other day? A hopeful sign of Spring. Well, he was just a big fat tease. I went to bed with clear skies and I relatively clear head...
I woke to this:
Yep, same tree from the other day
And a head, chest and throat that's anything, but clear. I suspect the flu came in silently last night with the snow. It snuck up so fast, there was nothing I could do to stop it. Coughing, sneezing, sore throat, aching body, what a mess. So it's me, my laptop, a little misery and lots of hot tea today. Not so different from any other day, I guess..
Ugh! Am I really expected to shovel today? You've got to be kidding me.
Well, I hope you have a good one with a bit of sunshine.
Best,
Kwana

poor baby! Put a little bourbon in your tea and you'll feel loads better before you know it!
At least the view is pretty.
Thanks Mel. I wish I had some bourbon although too much and I'd slip and slide down the driveway while shoveling! That would be cute. Not.
You're right it is pretty though. I'll cling to that.
Enjoy this wintry blast! Feel better!
Yeah, I didn't want to say anything but all the robins are down here in FL. We're having an infestation of them. One of the scrawny trees in the Publix parking lot had 7 in it. Seven! The tree was about to fall over.
Thanks Patricia I wish I could.
Oh my Kristen. So that's where they all are. I'd give just about anything to be in Florida today.
Did you take that shot with the robin in your window? It's terrific. I always think of robins as the little generals of the bird world.
Hope you feel better soon.
Thanks Notting Hill. I did take that shot. I couldn't belive I got it. The stars were in line.
this winter will never, ever, end. G'ah! So over winter. It's so last season for me at this point.
I totally agree, Maureen. So last season.
I hope you feel better. I was not ready for all of the snow that I encountered this morning. I'm just thrilled that my job is letting everyone go home now. They should've told us that hours ago, but I guess I should be glad they're letting us leave.
I CAN'T WAIT FOR SPRING!!!!!
Thanks Bg. Get home safe. Let's hope this is the last snow of the season.
Awww...poor thing. We got hit by your weather at eight this morning...turned into a Nor'easter that's hanging out and dumping snow on us until tomorrow morning. This is the time to open a bottle of wine and call for delivery. Hope you feel better, sweetie!!
Thanks Marley. Sorry the storm traveled your way. Hunker down.
