That Girl

What's Jack up to? Chilling and doing a darn good job of it don't ya think?

I'm sorry yet another bag post this week, but this one could not wait.

Am I really That Girl? You know what I think I am. Thanks to Kaitlyn's Momma and her great sale tip I've gone over the edge and become a Vera Bradley girl. I have to say that over the years I’ve gone into many shops and admired Vera Bradley pieces but felt they were a little dated for me. Not anymore. These are not your grandma’s handbags. Ok, so maybe they are, but you and I are cool enough to carry them off.

Check out the 3 wild, kitschy, cool and I think beautiful pieces that I snagged for Spring for a song. No, not a song really, cold hard cash, but not too much of it that I'm feeling the least bit remorseful.

Don’t you love this baby? Perfect for just a quick run to the store and it weighs next to nothing.

What about this wallet that doubles as a clutch. The colors are so much fun. And the workmanship is fabulous.

The Super tote is big enough to fit a few outfits, a couple of pairs of shoes and I could even throw Jack in there for good measure. Oh and it’s washable! My only wish is that it had a zipper. So I’m going to put one in so that I can really travel carefree with it.

Time for a weekend getaway! I wish.

Where would you run off to if you could make a quick 3 day getaway? Me? I think I'd take a quick run to the Bahamas or maybe Bermuda. I can use some blue water right about now. Now for a longer getaway it would be a cruise for sure I've never been on one. Greece or Italy. Yes!

Best,

Kwana

I don't like Vera Bradley at all. They all look like something we had to make in 6th grade Home Ec using scraps of ugly old fabric. Not my style at all.

I love all my Vera Bradley..even my 15 year old is obsessed with them. They have such fun colors and patterns. Enjoy!
PS Jack is too cute for words!

I am a Vera girl from way back! They use to be so hard to find and when I did? I bought them up. They are so practical as you can wash them and they are light weight-very important for people like me who fill'em up!

The new bag is pretty. I like the colors to welcome the warm weather ahead. I love a good purse. Most of my purses lately are by artists. I still like my Kate Spade gal.

How about locking the bathroom door taking a long bubble bath and listen to wave sounds? If you close your eyes you can pretend. Maybe even the hubby will join in and have a cold bottle of bubbly chilling once you get out. Ahhh... that does sound good to me.

Have a golden day! xoxo

I love that first bag. I love your fashion posts! I almost want to make a bag like that. I'm sure I can't afford one. So sweet!

I'm thinking tropical, like St. Lucia, or Italy. I love the Tuscany countryside...probably freakin' gorgeous right now. I'm going to go daydream about my 3-day getaway.

PS. I think Vera Bradley is awesome. I've seen many teenagers carry them. It does seem to grab a large demographic of women. For me, I'll stick to my Ed Hardy gear.

Three days: New Orleans. 'Cause I don't want jetlag, and I don't want to stuff myself into a bathing suit. :-)

Living in Anchorage Alaska 100 miles away from a volcano even more active than Jack, I would just like the plane to be able to leave the runway!!

But if I could leave, I would just go down to Palm Desert California and chill at the Marriott Desert Spring Resort. LOVE IT THERE..

Love your Vera Bradleys, adorable.... and Jack.... stole my heart again!! xoxoxo

You are sooo addicted to handbags, I think an intervention might be coming soon, so you'd better go to your tropical island paradise. LOL
