Creativity deffered

What's Jack up to? See this sweet photo?
Now think the opposite. This morning Jack's at the window barking his head off at every pedestrian, car and delivery truck that happens by.

And I'm supposed to work with this going on? Shhh Jack.

I've decided to put a few inspiration photos here for myself and my DH (notice blatant hint here). What do these beautiful dining rooms have in common? Why, a great chandelier to finish them off. To give that polish that says this is well thought out "done" room. So, I'm on the hunt for a great chandelier of my own. Something to really polish off my room and not break the bank. I'm sure I will find one. Once I get a bee in my bonnet there's no stopping me.

On another inspirational note I'm going to my local RWA NYC chapter meeting this weekend. I love sitting in a room with other writers who are all rooting for each other to succeed. Writing is so solitary and the meetings are a great boost for me. I always leave feeling pumped up and ready to work.

Best,
Kwana

See, I just don't believe what you say about precious little Jack when you post pictures like that. He's too adorable to bark in such a manner. LOL!!

LOL back at ya! Check the video again and that's mild.

So is the ceiling chandelier up yet? Knowing you the answer is yes!

Hi Kwana,

Nice blog! I love the dining room pics. You're right. A room isn't complete without a chandelier.

I found a great chandelier (black iron with crystals and silk shades) for my office on ebay! You just never know what will turn up there.

I'd post the kind of chandelier I'd order, but you'd roll your eyes at my retro-vintage-modern taste.

Good luck with the DH!

Thanks ladies. I'm glad you like the pics. You know the DH will take more convincing. Kristen, I will check out ebay. Great idea.
Come on post the picture Megan. Now I really want to see it.

I have heard a lot about writer's groups and apparently they are very inspiring. Sounds like a great space to be in with lots of energy. Is that your house in the pic?

Thanks for checking Ondo Lady. No, those are some dream dining rooms of mine. I'll post mine when I finally find a chandelier that both the DH and I can agree on!

I have to say joining Romance Writes of America (RWA) has really helped me to not give up and continue with my dream of being a writer. Hopefully I'll be published soon. Being part of the group I've met many inspirational published and non-published authors. It's great.
