Vet Me!

What's Jack up to? Right now Jack's growling, at what, I don't know. The wind maybe? Who knows, maybe my collard green thief is out there (see below). I'm glad I've got Jack on the scene.

This week is the RNC convention. I can't help but wonder how I got overlooked for the the VP job. Oh, I know I'm not with that party, but I am of the right gender. That should be enough, right? It seems to be.

I've got to remember to throw my hat into the ring next time.

Let's see: I'm a woman and I'm pretty sure with a little support I could become mayor of my small town. I've been in the PTA for many years, done my time as a baseball and a dance mom. I've got my passport and on the plus side done some international negotiations of my own in actual foreign countries so I've got a leg up on on the current VP pick there. Shoot my resume is solid! Why wasn't I vetted? The whole thing has me perplexed. I even wear snazzy glasses. Yeesh.

Best,

Kwana

This woman could be a heartbeat away from the presidency. She's been a mayor, a city council member, barely a governor, she hunts moose, is a former beauty queen and sports broadcaster. Yeah...I think she's really qualified. NOT! :::SIGH:::

I think you would have been a MUCH better pick, Kwanster.

I once negotiated to buy a bottle of perfume in a ridiculously snooty French shop, therefore I have foreign relations experience. I should be VP, too. Let's put our own ticket together, Kwana. :)

Funny post!! It really is ridiculous that he chose Palin for the VP since all he did was consistently complain that Obama doesn't have any experience.

You got MY vote!!

Remember though that George Bush is President, I mean if the powerbrokers can get him the presidency well VP is a shoo in, walk in the park really. What are you complaining about? lol.

Thanks for the Votes of confidence everyone. I wonder if she will actually just step down or something. It just gets worse by the minute.

Amanda you and I would make a cute ticket! Natalie don't get me started on my Pres. I my get my computer confiscated and I like it so much.

Hey, can I be your Secretary of State?? I can type!

Pamela, you are obviously more than qualified. You're in!

I can be Treasurer. Not only do I manage my household accounts, I have also been Treasurer of my local LaLeche League AND two Girl Scout troops. Uh. On second thought, maybe I'm overqualified. ;p

Sorry, Christine you're out. Yes you're over qualified. I really have started something here haven't I? Uh-oh.

I can completely vouch for Kwana's snazzy glasses. And we all raised our hands that we'd voe for her this weekend.

Certainly would make things interesting...just as long as I get to stay in the White House one night, darlin'.

You can stay any time N. The whole family is welcome.

I am still totally obsessed with this story. When will they just release the birth certificates and get it over with?

McCain BARELY knew anything about her. His choice seems so desperate. I just don't get it. Being impulsive does not equal being a "maverick." Ugh.

Kwana for VP, I say.

Thanks for supporting me for VP Decorno! Heck, what more harm can I do? I say Vet me. My skeletons can't be much worse. Well maybe who am I fooling. I've lived.

Just finished watching Palin deliver her acceptance speech at the RNC. It doesn't get much worse than her. Mocking, sarcastic and an embarrassment for women throughout the country.

Thanks for commenting Kalliope. I just watched. It was very combative. I'm shaking my head and off to bed.

I'm still amazed that a woman who two months ago had no idea what the VP did, is now the Republican nominee. Seriously has she never heard of Wikipedia? Didn't she study the US government in school? But then again, she's no different than most of the high school students I used to tutor, which is seriously sad.
