You betcha! (wink-wink)

What's Jack up to? As I type this late at night he's sleeping like a baby. One would never know all the mischief he gets into in a day.

So did you watch? Of course you did. You had too. What else was on, Law and Order?

I tell ya, one more wink and I was ready to jump through my TV and give her a shake. And all that fake folksiness was making my teeth hurt. It was a night of winks, silly quips and question avoidance. But a shameless plug for imaginary future power had to get thrown in. Scary.

Danger Will Robinson.
The woman wants power with a capital P. That is clear.

Just check out her shoes. 3 clicks of the heels? But, props to her for standing in them for an hour and a half.
Oh, and not for nothin', but that sweet baby sure keeps late hours. I'm just sayin'.

pics thanks to AP

On the up side, look what I got. My Obama lawn sign finally came in. It was on backorder. Yay! This is the first time I've ever made such a bold political statement and I'm proud to do it.

Now the whole neighborhood knows who I'm going for. Humph. As if they didn't know before.

Best,
Kwana

how's your writing going by the way Kwana?

Hi Natalie! How are ya. The writing is going... Slow... but going. Important decisions are being made. I'm trying to get into the groove. Thanks for asking. How about you?

I am not big on winking, in general, to be honest. But when she does it, it grates on me more than when non-politicos do it. It's smarmy.

Missed the winks, I watched baseball playoffs.

Let's see...winks, you-betchas!, "nu-cu-ler" like W, I saw dips when the words "maverick" and "hockey mom" came out of her mouth.

The CNN wrap-up with Soledad O'Brien also showed their undecided voter panel...about 6 or 7 made up their minds FROM THE VP DEBATE. Only one woman of that group said her mind was made up to vote for McCain; she was already a registered R and to be honest, her comment was about as articulate as Palin was with that Couric interview.

Okay, I'll stop now.

I agree Nova. So, icky.

Thanks for visiting, French Pretty. Sorry you missed it. It was exciting.

I saw that wrap up, N. That poor woman killed me. She needed an intervention. I hate to speak badly of her, but I think her mind was already made up. I think she though Sarah was winking directly at her.

I listened to the broadcast on an NPR live feed, I knew I wouldn't be able to watch it without grinding my teeth to an oblivion. I was utterly amazed at how she not only didn't answer any questions, but actually told Gwen that she wasn't going to answer.

She made my head explode.

My yard sign is MIA. I ordered it the day after McSame picked Palin.

I watched. Front row seat for a train wreck. Wanted to slap the silly grin off her smug face.

And what does it take to stand there and tell people that you're not going to answer the questions? The nerve.

She doesn't have anything to offer, and if I have to suffer hearing nuke-cue-lar for 4 more years I'm going to kill myself. It just grates on me that we (the US) could elect another 3rd rate intellect to its highest office.

I have the same sign in my yard, and like you, it's the first political sign ever to be placed there. If not now, when??

Kwana said...

Hi Muriel. I know that one line to Gwen about made my head explode too.

Decornia I'm sorry your yard sign is MIA. I hope it turns up. Maybe it's still on order?

Natalie I'm glad you're moving along. That's great that you're doing NaNo. The pressure of it always get's to me. I'll be rooting for you.

Pamela I'm glad we're sisters in signs. Now's the time.

I am very fortunate that I live in a neighborhood where only 2 Mccain lawn signs exists. You would think Obama is from my area with his all over the neighborhood. Good for you for your neighbors you care about the state of our country.
